How to stop the drugs problem?

I do understand the problem you say being a world wide scenario particularly in the affluent society. Don't you feel the origins of the problem lie in the neglect or break down of the family system per se???. And that's where the answer lies. Catch them young when you can still affect the young minds and the problem will cease quite radically and quite fast. Requires the political will to do that...think you can swing that?
