How to upkeep and maintain voice for screamer in /metalcore band?

I have been screaming for a few years now, but i still can't scream all day, every day. I use fry and power fry screams, because false and death are not options for me. However, I find that sometimes I can scream for at most 20-30 minutes before I begin to lose the ability to do so. If i try to push for it, it still doesn't work, and I'm not interested in vocal damage. Basically what I want to know is, what are good exersizes to do that maintain your screaming voice? What foods and beverages are conducive to my screaming voice? I have heard some people say Monster Energy drinks, but they are loaded with sugar. Most people say to sip lukewarm water, but while it is soothing, it doesn't really improve anything for me. Other people swear by eating skittles when screaming, and yet even others swear by singer's grace spray for your voice before a show. Ive heard that smoking a cigarette just before screaming can do wonders. Any input, Yahoo?

Everything sounds great! In my personal opinion unless you have really dry skin I don't think you'd would need to use an exfoliating face cleanser-leave that to the teen. I would Try a cleanser that puts moister back into your skin, because lets face it-as we age the process of wrinkling is because we don't have as much moister in our skin as we did when we were younger. Try something that isn't as harsh, but will still get the job done, maybe like Noxzema or along those lines with a gentle facal-scrub brush. Love the SPF moisturizer! I personally would add a night cream with Retinol A in it (keep it in fridge believe me it works!) and a weekly mud masque, but that really is about it.

I do not feel it is uncommon. I am that way to a degree sometimes more one day and less another. When their is a heavy subject to consider I respond to my feelings which, in turn, are difficult to form into words. But the words and sentences, you are correct, are simply to outline sequential cirstance and place one feeling before another (which appears contradictory because we can feel more then one or two feelings at one single time). I believe everyone at one time or another can be "at a loss for words". So, it would benefit to sit down and formulate why we feel such a way and what can we do about it and move from one emotion or another. But that does not mean it is any easier to formulate into words. However, it will be easier, once practiced, what you are feeling and why and then work on formulating appropriate responses. my granddaddy died last dec, i was the only grandchild not ther out of 29, my dad put the phone next to him, and i told him how much i loved him, i did asked him to hold on for a few more hours, so i can get there in time to say goodbye, since im in virginia and he was in south carolina.but then i remember how much pain he must be in, i told him that i loved him very much and that i will always love him and think of him...always, cause he will live on in me. because he is such a big part of mylife. a few hours later he went. i got to south carolina about 6 hours after he died. my grandma gave me the jacket he had on when he went to the hospt. thats the only thing i wanted. i still hug that jacket and smell it, it still smells like him.

Well I recently got a SMC Router SMCD3GN model and my ISP hooked it up using a WPA-PSK connection. Dodge Dakota Reliability?

I have '99 a v6 3.9l 2wd Dodge Dakota Sport with 80k miles on it. It's had numerous issues with alignment, breaks, oxygen sensor, speakers and recently a joint in one of the wheels was found completly snapped. (it wasn't a ball joint, i cant remember the name of it). We've spent over $3k in fixes in the past 7 months i've owned it. My question is, is this truck worth keeping? The total we bought if for (includ Tax) was $8k. According to KBB its worth about $5400. So we'd be loosing a huge sum of money. I'm afraid to expect more problems in the future. Is this typical for a dakota? I've read reviews on how unreliable they are (after i bought it of course), so i'm consenplating getting rid of it now before more problems come my way. You are kind of late... but as for the other universities, they will take you in but , if i were you, take your SAT's again. They are just too low. Well, I don't like smoking cigarettes, so I don't do that either. Will I single-handedly put the entire tobacco industry to rest simply by avoiding their products? No, and I feel the same way about meat. I like animals and I take them seriously enough to not eat them. I don't need their flesh to survive, so I would rather take the ethical high-road and do what I feel is right. In July this year my hubby was unexpectedly laid of from his telecom job of 8 years. I have them too! Had them for years. They are called Plantar Warts. I keep shaving them down. I try everything but they are always there. They hurt when they grow alot, right? Brain Fog - Wierd Symptoms (please help!)?

Over the last couple of years, my body has been doing wierd things. Lately I have had only what I can describe as brain fog, decreased mental capacity, always tired, can't focus. Other symptoms I have had are trouble sleeping, bowel changes over the last 2 years, ual impotence, anxiety, panic attacks and fatigue. In the last 6 months it has gotten really bad and now I am having problems staying awake during the day (I get 8-9 hours every night of rest). I was completely healthy up until the last 3 years or so and since then the doctors have been able to find nothing. I have had bloodwork, urine tests, Upper GI, 2 Brain MRI's, and stool tests with nothing found. Doctors say I am fine, but I know I am not. I don't think I am going to die, but I think something is not right with my body. I am just really frustrated as my symptoms cause severe anxiety. I don't know what to do, anything you can contribute would be great.

Output transformer dead? (tube amp)?

It is a musciman 65 reverb head. It blew the fuse, and I got it home and replaced it. The amp would not p a musical signal just a hum (put of the speakers). Even with the tubes pulled it would hum (out of the speakers) in play mode. I pulled the tubes and checked the high voltage on pins 3 of the out put tubes, and I got 0VDC. It should be around 700VDC. The filaments are fine and I have high voltage else were. Is the output transformer dead? O yeah the output transformer also started to smell a bit and mildly sizzle when I was testing for voltage. I immediately shut it down.

I think it is fine to save them, as long as you are going to care for them. I know someone who had possums loose in his house. I'm uming that you already straighten them, but if you don't, do.Whenever you get out of the shower, or when you are about to straighten them, make sure they are wet, and dry them with a hairdryer. When you straighten, pull the straightener to the side that you want them to "guide" them to the correct side. While you are at home put clips on your bangs so they are in the correct position. They will eventually bend and stay to that side. Hairspray may also help.

What other things do suggest are the best to see in those 2 cities. When I was England in 1998 as a graduation present (with school) i visited both of those cities and loved the both. Bath has changed so much since then. It's become a shopaholics dream in some areas, which takes away from the history. I am a history buff myself. Thyroid nodules causing difficulty swallowing?

I was diagnosed in early February with 2 thyroid nodules on the back side of my thyroid which are causing difficulty in swallowing and occasionally my voice is hoarse. A fine needle biopsy showed that the nodules are benign however I can't get in to see the endocrinologist for another 3 weeks. The nodules are on top of each other and one is about 1 inch and the other is about 3/4 inches (sorry the metric escapes me at this moment). Since they are causing discomfort am I correct in uming that they will surgically remove the nodules rather than try the thyroid medication treatment? My TSH levels are well within the normal ranges but I am experiencing severe fatigue, mental fuzziness, and of course difficulty in eating. There is also some pain ociated in the area of the nodules although they cannot be felt directly.

Medieval Baord game from the 90's? HELP!?

So, I had a game when I was younger, it was medieval. It was on a large hex board. It was about 2 armies attacking each other. My kidneys failed requiring dialysis and a transplant about 13 years ago after a serious flare and a long hospital stay for treatment a Nocardia infection which left me with abscesses in my lungs and brain. The Nocardia was thought to be brought on by treatment for a serious flare in progress which was being treated with a once a month with IV therapy and tablets I took at home. I cannot remember the name of the med. but it was a drug used to treat some types of cancer. Yes, I was very ill, had seizures and required to have a ventilator and tracheotomy to breathe and was on TPN for a month and a half or better. My kidneys failed at that time. After I was well enough I had a transplant and subsequently put on immunosupressives to maintain the graft. I have had no flares since my extended hospital stay for the Nocardia. My nephrologist told me that many times Lupus kind of fizzles out after it destroys a major organ. Why they do not know, one theory is that the immunsuppressive therapy play a part which makes sense. If this is true then why do they not use these medications to treat a flare? Is this due to the potential complications ociated with the immuosuppression therapy or another reason? Or is it something ociated with losing my kidneys that burns the Lupus out? During the time in dialysis I also had no flares and was actually weaned completely off prednisone I might add.

PTSD-death of loved one?

I was just curious if it's possible to develop PTSD after the death of a loved one. I had a boyfriend when I was 16 who died in a car accident a year later with his brother who I was also close to. I know everyone responds differently to situations such as this but I developed some pretty weird mental stuff afterwards...I only truly married my husband because he looked like him physically but it turned out he was verbally and mentally abusive. After I had my son I became obsessed with my own death and that of my son, developing what I thought was hypochondria and doctors said I had OCD but none of the treatments for either were working for years....my husband left my son and I a little over two years ago and I have this very intense dissociation to where I can hardly even bond with my own son and it brings me on the verge of suicidal feelings. I know it sounds kind of weird but I'll spend hours just looking at him trying to conjure up my feelings for him but feel nothing...I can hardly take care of myself as pathetic as that sounds, I can't concentrate and have terrible intrusive thoughts. When my son was born I didn't think I could possibly be any happier, I remember looking at him though one day thinking how blessed I was to have him and all of a sudden this intense fear of losing him came over me and I developed intrusive thoughts about not loving him anymore which gave me intense anxiety. I have a hard time even hearing my sons name even though he's still alive and within my reach any time...I worry that this is making him suffer and my own feelings of inadequacy as a mother leave intense feelings of guilt to top it all off, I worry that he can sense my distance and will hate me for it some day. I've been diagnosed with anxiety and trauma but am not currently seeking treatment. I have difficulty finding people I like or trust with my problems, the guilt I have over these thoughts of my son make it hard for me to talk about it with strangers, I think they'll think I'm a piece of **** mother who just doesn't care about her own child and that I'm evil and don't deserve him. I'm going to pay 3500 to have some neuroimaging done on my brain to be properly diagnosed and treated for whatever this and I'm going in this month on the 14th for 3 days in an inpatient clinic, I hope my son never finds out I had to do all this. I feel so isolated from everyone and can't let people in and it feels so lonely. Anyone have any thoughts? Sorry this post was so long but thanks to anyone who took the time to read it. I recently got a hold of my biological father through myspace and according to that side of my family there's no history of schizophrenia or anything..I don't hear voices or hallucinate. I'm the only one on my mom's side with the type of "issues" I have so I don't get it. Is 18 to late to start playing the violin?

Hi, i've always wanted to play the violin but growin up in a big family without alot of money it left alot of "wants" for us. I took up guitar in my early teens and have been playing it since but I really love clical music and the instrument itself so I was thinking of taking it up. But with the violin unlike the guitar I see alot of people saying you have to start at a rediculously early age to be any good, like 3 or 5. And to be honest it's just kind of turning me away from the instrument, not alot but it kind of makes me feel like it's a waste of time, I mean I dont expect to be a violin virtuoso by the time i'm 20 or even 25 but i'd atleast like to think I could get to a good level of violin playing, not playing twinkle twinkle little star 5 years down the road. Just lookin on some feedback, personal experience, is what these people say true or just bull?(I do however understand that someone who started earlier will be much better at a earlier age and probably learns faster.)

He obviously gets away with this kind of behavior at home. However, when he is in your care, you are in charge no matter what. He has to listen to you because he is the child and you are the adult. Stop allowing this behavior. I've done a ton of babysitting over 30 yrs plus any child that is here playing with my own kids...they are in my care when I am babysitting or they are visiting my home. They have to follow my rules...I make it clear to every child, regardless of what they get away with with teir own parents, that when they are in my care, they follow my rules. They behave themselves because they know I won't stand for anything less. You have to be firm with your nephew and let him know what you expect of him.
