A question for Rangers fans?

I have just heard McGregor has signed a new 5yr contract, well done he is a good goalie. However the question is would you rather have had the reported 8Million transfer fee to spend elsewhere? The reason i ask this is if Celtic where offered 10Million or more for Boric i would grab it. Now my reason for this is Celtic should always concentrate on scoring more goals than keeping them out, And the cash mentioned for McGregor and Boric was substantional. What are your opinions?
