Which backpack is better?

My daughter is 13 and is going into 8th Grade next month. Every year I get her a backpack at L.L. Bean, as they are tough and durable ect. But, last year when she attended a new school her backpack I bought didn't hold all her books, folders, and notebooks. I need a little help I love both of these but, the problem is will it hold up? the first to me looks like it's too big. What I really want is to know which would hold up to 4-5 textbooks, 5-6 folders, 2-3 notebooks, a lunchbox, a cellphone, iPod, and waterbottle every day and not wear out my child's back.
