Christians: How does God keep Hell warm?

If the Christian God is the Creator of all, he must have created Hell. Christians: is God the one who is fueling the fires of hell and keeping it hot for all eternity, or is it Satan? Does God provide the logs and the sticks and the twigs to keep that place hot for sinners like me? Or is Satan in some kind of unspoken agreement with God to provide that service? Also, things can't burn forever (they run out of fuel), so God must alter the physical anatomy of a person so s/he can burn over and over again. Did God come up with the idea of Hell before or after the Fall of Man? How can God be happy hanging with angels and good humans in heaven, knowing that most of his beloved creation is below him, cookin'?
