The plastic body of a lawn sprayer shutoff embly was stepped on and cracked. Can this be repaired and how?

The crack extends vertically along the threaded area. Is there a plumbing glue or dope that could be used to repair this. The sprayer is pressurized and I need something that would not be effected by the chemicals used.
