Can I still hunt over my 2 y/o Lab during her heat cycle or do I need to cancel my trip?

I've had her for 2 months and this is my first chance to get her in the field. As it is our first time we are going to a preserve where they will stock pheasant for us. I only get weekends off from work every 3 months so if we can't go next weekend I doesn't look good for us.
