Have you ever been in a car crash that ended in a fatality?

If so, who was at fault? was anyone criminally charged? Who died? I am looking to hear from all sides of the equation. My brother was killed recently in a wreck. It was due to a man driving carelessly and speeding. He is being charged for it. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor. I am wondering how this man may feel. He will not talk to my family. I am especially interested in hearing if you were the one who caused the wreck. Not to be mean or judgmental. I am just trying get an understanding for how the man must feel. I have driven carelessly also, so I am not trying to judge anyone.
